16 Months

Boys this month has been the best so far! You get things, I think a light bulb went off for both of you and you finally understand more and more what we are saying. We can give you simple directions and you “usually” do them. You love school, this makes me very happy. Our teacher Ms Nikki has moved and Ms Vanessa is your new teacher. Your favorite teacher is Ms Alex, she is there in the morning when we arrive – she always greets you with hugs and kisses and you love it! She has been working with you guys on sign language, which you have picked up very quickly. Your favorite is more or more commonly in our house known as “mo”. Hudson wants “mo” of everything. You two have a language all of your own, I have no clue what you say to each other, but you both do!

Hayden
You have really been struggling with ear infections this past month, you have had 3 in about 6 weeks. You are such a trooper – I don’t think they really even bother you that much any more. Nothing stops you! You can say and understand the meaning of mama, dada, truck, banana, bath, shoe and more. You are wearing a size 6 shoe and 2t clothes. You have reached the point that under then island you have to duck to walk under it, you don’t like that.  You love books – you will sit down with a book, turn pages, and read outloud to your self.

Hudson
Dude, you are a talker! You can say probably 20 plus words. Your favorite’s are; car, mama, dada, bampa (grandpa), truck, banana, hat, dog, berry, and more. You have learned to shake your head no no if you don’t want something. You like to give kisses. You love to copy anything that I do, for instance if I am brushing my hair you want to brush yours. Your Nana got you a tea set and you love to play tea party. You are still into electronics and can use an i-pad better than most adults, you can turn on music and turn pages.

15 Months

15 Months

You boys have successfully made it through one whole month of daycare!

My little babies are 15 months old! You are truly not babies anymore. You love to walk places on your own and hate holding my hand in the parking lot, we are working on that. You have finally adjusted to life as a daycare kiddo and don't cry when I leave anymore. You have been sick for the past month, which I hate, but I think we are almost getting back to normal. Your noses run more than a faucet! We have finally switched to 1 nap a day. Today you took an almost 3 hour nap! Daycare makes you both very tired. You are learning where your nose is and your eyes. You absolutely love lights and fans. You are both trying so hard to talk, you both have your own little language and I am pretty sure you understand each other. You are getting good or better with crayons and enjoy coloring.

Hayden - You are a pretty good eater when you feel well. You love guacamole! I can ask you to go get a truck and you will bring me back one. You still suck your thumb and love to cuddle. Your favorite game is to say mama in the car and have me turn around, you think it is hilarious. You can say hello, which isn't 100% clear but what you are saying and you are working on night night and bath.

Hudson - You are a picky eater when you are well and not well. You love raspberries, blueberries, bananas, and waffles. Other than those few things you really don't care to have anything else. We are trying hard to get you to eat more things but you can be stubborn. You have developed a mind of your own over the past month. You don't let Hayden take your toys - you will pull them back and jabber at him till you get them back. You can say hello and bye bye. You wave hello and bye bye to all of the parents at daycare when they drop their kids off.

I can't believe you are 15 months! You are the best little buddies in the whole wide world! I love you so very much!
