My Favorite Moment During My Very First Week of Motherhood

I read a blog called The Daybook and while on maternity leave she is having guest posts from women on their favorite moment during their very first week of motherhood. Which got me thinking to what my favorite moment was with you boys. To be honest the first 24 hours were a blur. I was on some pretty strong medicine for my blood pressure, I loved holding you and feeding you, and getting to know you in the outside world but my very favorite moment did not come till a little later.

My favorite moment during my very first week of motherhood with you boys was our first full day at home. Your Dad and I were feeding you boys in bed at your 8am feeding. We had this moment with you two that I will remember forever, you were ours and we were in love! The thought that we had your whole lives in front of us, you were fresh and new. It hit us that we get to form you into the people we want you to be. You were all ours and we couldn't have been happier. We love you both!
