21 Months
This month was great. You two are growing up before my very
eyes. This month brought 14 inches of snow, tubes for your ears, a live performance
of Yo Gabba Gabba, and mom’s first over night work trip. Dad rolled solo for 4
days and did a great job. We got the 14 inches of snow when I was gone, you all
stayed home Thursday and Friday and had lots of fun!
I took Hayden into see Dr. Wei this month for his 7 ear
infections you have had since you started school. Dr. Wei was amazing, as I was
talking to her she was telling me that 3 ear infections in 6 months is reason
to be seen for tubes. I brought Hudson back and sure enough both of you can’t
hear, well you aren’t deaf but you are not hearing any background noises. You
both had tubes put in 2/15/13. You both woke up excellent and were ready to
play. I think we are still waiting for the new play house to arrive that
Grandma promised you in the waiting room. We have seen huge improvements in
your hearing and behavior since you had them put in.
If I need you to stop doing something or go inside from
being outside, we tell it night night and that said objects mama called and
they need to go night night. You will tell whatever it is night night and
follow your mama’s directions.
You both love dinosaurs, and love to tell me that they say
“ROAR”. You really enjoy polar bears, lions, bears, pretty much anything that
roars.
Our schedule has pretty much stayed the same but you are
staying up a little bit later each night, closer to 6:30 or 7.
I am so proud of my boys. You are growing into nice young
boys. Time is going too fast.
Hayden:
You are a hoot my friend. You are very shy at times and even
a little timid of loud sounds. When I pick you up form school you have to make
sure I see you doing what ever it is you are up to at that time. You like to
show off. You are a great eater, most of the time. You do not have a huge sweet
tooth but enjoy your fry fries. You are a leader. You love to make huge
splashes in the bathtub, you will stand up and do a belly flop in the middle of
the tub. You took a shower this month and really enjoyed it. You are curious. You give what I call “tight hugs”. You will wrap
your arms tight around my neck and give a big squeeze. You are starting to use
2 word sentences a lot. Your favorite is “no moon” – that being said, you love
the moon.
Hudson:
You love outside and really hate to have to come inside. You
love anything sweet, especially cookies. You have your mama’s sweet tooth. Now
that you have tubes, I truly believe your eating has improved. You love
cheeseburgers and your fry fires too. You are not shy and love an adventure.
You love your puppy and Moose. You can climb into mama’s bed and are very proud
of yourself for it. You love to play pretend and do what your mama and dada do.
You love to wear hats. You also love the moon. Your new phrase is, “yea baby”.
I am not sure where you picked that up but you like to say it. You still continue to be my more calm child,
but that is going away day by day. You remind me so much of your Papa.
