2!

Two
Well it happened. You boys turned two! We had a great time! Lots of visitors - Nana and Gramps came up from Arkansas. Auntie Grandma, Uncle Jack, Aunt Marci, Uncle Bill, your favorites Henry, and Felix all came to visit for the special occasion.

The VanderMoggs arrived Thursday night - we had beef burgers and anything that HT and FJ were eating to go along with them. Friday I had to work but you got to hang out with the VM's and Grandma and Papa all day. You went to Antioch Park and had your first slurpee. Henry and Felix enjoyed showing you around, Henry is proud of how he taught you to scream.

Nana and Gramps arrived Friday night - you enjoyed some late night play before your big day. Saturday we got up and went to DeAnna Rose Farm. We had a blast! Hayden you loved the rabbits and would stand there yelling "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit". Hudson you loved riding the tractors and were not happy when we had to let others take a turn.

We had a party Saturday night. Here are the cakes that I made for you. Next year you can have your cake as soon as you see it. It was torture for you to see your cake and want it and not be able to have it till later.

Sunday you played with Nana and the park and then we went to the pool with Henry and Felix. YOu were a little shy of the water but it was very cold. You both enjoy jumping in from the side of the pool. Sunday night we went to Union Station to see the trains and we ate at Fritz's. I am pretty sure it was a great day for you both. I think your favorite part was running in the sky walk screaming "go, go, go, go, go". Lots of comments from strangers on how cute you both are.

Your big present was a new swing set in the back yard. Dad and Gramps built it all weekend long.

The past two years have flown by - every day I fall more and more in love with you two. Happy Birthday my sweet boys.

23 Months

30 Days Till 2?!?!?!?!?!?

How in the world are we 30 days from 2???? I am not sure. I still feel like you should be young enough that I can easily give you a kiss for each day you have been alive, yea we did that for a long time. You two are so much fun! We are loving your communication and spunk for life. Everything is exciting and new for you both. You both love to tell everything hi.

You both have stopped using a high chair at restaurants, you prefer to just sit on the bench booth next to us. We all enjoy this. We are down to just one month left in class with Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Denise. I am not sure how we will carry on with out them. We are so lucky such wonderful teachers. You will start the Toddler 2 room next month.

This was a rough month. Hayden, Hudson, and I all got Norovirus. It was horrible. Hayden woke up on a Sunday puking, Hudson started Monday morning, I started Tuesday night, Hayden was admitted to Children's Mercy Wednesday for fluids, we came home Thursday, and we had our last puke on Saturday morning. Rough, rough, week. It was unreal how quickly Hayden got dehydrated. Luckily Huddy didn't get it as bad and we had Zofran all around.  Being at the hospital you certainly realize how lucky we are to be there just for fluids, we are lucky, lucky, people and I never take that for granted. Nana came up to help while we were in the hospital, she stayed with Hudson and brought him up to play with his brother when he started feeling better. Thank you, Nana!

Hayden:
You have really grown up this month. You have relaxed a little in life and really enjoy seeing everything. You LOVE trains, choo choo's, buses, tractors, and anything with wheels. When I pick you up at school, you love to show off and show everyone what you are playing with. You like to eat, you are a little more adventurous than your brother. When I put you night night you curl your legs up and snuggle in tight. You love to color and line up all of your crayons. You like bubbles. You are still very strong willed. Luckily, telling you anything has to go night night still works. You will blow anything a kiss and tell it bye bye. You love to hold my hand on the way into daycare, you don't like to be carried. You are very independent.

Hudson:
You are so tall! You tell me "back... rub" when I put you in your bed. You love it and you love to give me a great big hug. When we get to school everyday you tell me, "Hug" and give me the biggest hug. You love fruit loops, crackers, medicine (fiber gummy), and fruit. You are a picky eater but love fish sticks and hamburgers. Sweets and salts are your fave hence the fiber gummy's. We are working on it. You love to dance and pretend to be an adult. You wear our shoes and like to drink coffee, especially Nana's cup. When we I-Chat with Nana and Gramps, you love to show off and show them everything you can do. You are getting much better at using your words to describe what you need. You definitely have the work park down. You love the park. Unfortunately, you were not feeling so well on Easter and didn't get to eat as many mm's and you would have liked.

Our new ride!

Hudson came over and rubbed his brothers back when he was sad.
