Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas this year! The boys really had no clue what was going on but loved to put the paper in their mouth!

We start off with visiting Santa at Bass Pro!

We even watched Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer! Well.... about 3 minutes of it :)

We celebrated Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Bruce a little early. Grandma had her annual Feliz Navidad. It was great to see the whole gang. I think they are looking forward to you staying up past 6 o'clock next year :)

You will see these in your future too!

We went and picked out a tree from the tree farm. These fun hats are from Aunt Amy and Uncle Jim

We took some fun pictures by our tree

This was your reaction when we told you about Santa
Mom and Dad went out for the annual steak feed. I promise you will love this next year!
 Christmas Eve
Santa left you a note and ate your cookies!

We weren't sure what Santa was going to do about wrapping. He did different things for us, looks like he decided to do a little of both.

Waiting to come downstairs.

With all that you both received your favorite thing was new binkies!

Moo loved his new bone!

Thank you Curt, Kate, Taylor, Tess, and Claire! We love our new sweaters!

Hudson loved the ornaments from Aunt Judy and Uncle Denny so much he wanted to eat them!

7 Months

Sitting, Rolling, and Trying to Crawl

Another month has come and gone. We had a lot of fun things happen this month, from visiting Great Grandma to celebrating your first Christmas! We traveled 3 out of the past 4 weekends and you guys did great! Pictures from those events coming soon!

Hayden
You know what you like and you want us to know exactly what you want. You cup your hands and clap them in a grabbing motion and make some cute sounds to express how badly you want what ever object.  You want to crawl so badly and are getting very frustrated that you are not making any forward progress. I know it will happen any day! Today you started planking, you are very strong. You have mastered the art of putting your arms up when you want your Mom or Dad. You also flash a very big smile when you are excited to see someone. You are becoming more and more of a talker. Just the other day you were babbling away and clear as day you said, "Hey Dada". We know that you didn't mean to say that but I am pretty sure you have your Dad wrapped around your finger for life now. You are always pulling your socks off! You are becoming a little man, can't wait to see what the next month brings us!

Hudson

My Huddy Buddy you are the most patient baby I have ever met in my life. You LOVE to laugh! You really like to be tickled and held sideways. We joke that we don't want to drop the baby and you LAUGH! You now have 2 new teeth! You have been such a trooper through this new teeth stuff. The first one caused you some pain and the second one just popped up, no pain (that you shared with us). You are starting to figure out the idea of crawling, I think you will be more of a scooter. With the help of a backboard you scooter over to your Dad this month. You are becoming a belly sleeper but still prefer your back with your hands over your head and feet crossed. (so cute) You are getting more and more hair every day and more curls!  You also can put your hands up to ask for your Mom or Dad. You are so very handsome!

You both love to eat and have been more adventurous with your foods this month. Major things you have enjoyed are pineapples, eggs, or basically anything that we will put in your mouth! We are trying to let you wean yourself (BLW) this week we gave you sweet potatoes and you used your spoon and fingers to feed yourself, it was very very messy but you both enjoyed it!

You two are figuring out that the other one is there more and more. Hudson spent the afternoon with Grandpa this month and said you were very sad that your brother wasn't around with you. You like to "share" toys.... for the most part.... It is neat to see you interact more and more.

We are very proud of you two little boys! Love you!
