Catching Up

I have recently discovered Pinterest, seriously addicting. We tried out two new recipes, Gnocchi Mac 'n Cheese and this super yummy Kit Kat M&M Cake.

Gnocchi Mac 'n Cheese

Cindy's Birthday Cake!
A new Hayes tradition, take a picture in front of our Maple Tree.
We went out for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa to Jack Stack. Notice anything????
Don't lay a finger on my rub!

MMMMMM, do you think Grandpa could add this to my bottle?

Hayden and Hudson found a book they are asking Santa for.

I am not a crafty person but thanks again to Pinterest for the great idea for hospital memorabilia.

Moose loves his babies.

Gifts from Auntie Grandma and Uncle Jack

Hayden HATES peaches! (Come to find out if Mom gives them enough he will learn to love them.  Note to self, do not buy baby food in bulk)
 We LOVE our Jeeps!

Check out Grandpa

We took a trip to Des Moines and drove past a few favorite spots. Funny how this house has a new meaning to me now that we have H&H.
My 1st house

Hard to see but this is my Grandma's old town house. Those of you that know it probably don't recognize it because there is not car in the yard!

The back yard
I ordered new hats for the boys!

Everyone loves a great car-seat picture

We have found that swinging is so much fun!

Saturdays in the fall are never complete without a little household rivalry.

Grandma celebrated a birthday!

We put up our Christmas Treee

Hayden has started to really enjoy napping on people, I don't think anyone hates it.

 More Jeep driving

 Thanksgiving

While in Arkansas I got to have lunch with these two three awesome people! (Baby Shy coming in April)

Guess what.... More Pinterest! Those trees are actually tomato grates!
Boys had their 6 month check ups. Thanks Grandma for helping with shots.

While at the doctor we won "Cute Hats of the Day"!

Smiles to say goodbye!

First Tooth

I could not get a picture of it today, but after lots of hard work on Hudson's behalf my little Buddy has his first tooth! Love you Huddy Buddy!

6 Months - Half-way to 1

 6 Months - Half-way to 1!

Honest to goodness I know I say this every month, but how in the world did we get this far? How has half a whole year passed? Where are those 6lbs of love I welcomed to the world?

Here are the stats.

Hayden
19lbs 3 oz 75%
26'' 25%
Oh Hayden my boy you are a hoot! Your hair is CRAZY! I cut some of your hair last month which looked good for a while now your hair just sticks straight up. I absolutely love it. It fits your personality to a t. You have turned into a little boy no longer a baby in my eyes. You want to crawl so badly, you get up on all fours and rock a bit, very cute. You only want to be on your belly and have made bath time a challange. You can sit up but are not great at it, I don't wander far from you! You have started to talk, talk, talk! The older you get the more vocal you get, you are a lot like your mama! You love food! You really enjoy eating out of your food sack, but get really mad when it runs out. You are not a huge binky guy any longer, you really prefer your thumb. You are amazing.
You love to snuggle

Hudson
18lbs 13oz 75%
26 3/4'' 50%
Huddy Buddy you are my angel boy. So sweet and laid back. Your hair is really growing, although someone from across the room may still not be able to see it. It is very blonde and starting to get some curls. You and Uncle Bill are truly twins! (We will get a picture of Uncle Bill as a baby to post so we can all see the resemblance). You are so TALL! You have amazing abdominal strength, you can now sit up from a laying position. You even rolled from back to belly this month! You still prefer to just hang on your back and kick your legs, but if given the opportunity I think you would just prefer to sit. Bath time is still pretty easy with you. You also love food, you think it is pretty funny if I make the spoon an airplane, you always have your mouth open waiting for your food. You are maturing before my eyes every day. You are amazing.

Always laughing
Our schedule has really changed in the last month. You really are not that into naps. I am dealing with this. Our new rule is it has to be at least 45 mins. You both are pretty darn grouchy if you don't get that. However, the fact that you sleep so well at night will keep me at bay.

Schedule
6:30 Wake-Up. I take turns each day on who I wake first or most days Hudson is ready to go. We feed Moose, make bottles, change diapers, and play with Dad before he leaves for work.
7:00 8oz bottle
7:15 - 8:11 We play in our Bumbo's, Exersaucer, and on our tummy's. We have to wait awhile for belly time while your food digests a little. You still have CRAZY reflux! This is my favorite time of the day, we have so much fun!
8:11 Nap!
9:15 - 10:00 Sometimes you are still napping but if you are up we play or go running (weather depending)
10:00 Human food! This is what I call baby food. You love green beans, sweet potatoes, applesauce, pears, squash, bananas, peas are ok, peaches are getting better, and we are now starting mixed fruits.
10:30 - 11:30 More play
11:30 8oz bottle
12:00 Nap, usually an hour.
1:00 Play or run. Depends on what we did that morning.
2:00 More human food and play
3:00 6oz bottle
3:30 - 4:30 another nap or more play depending on your 12 o'clock nap.
4:30 more human food
5:00 Bath time and play with Dad
5:50 8oz Bottle
6:00 Bed time

You Dad and I love you boys so much! And Moo Moo loves you too!
