First Visit to the Park

Your Dad and I took you to the park for the first time. You guys had a lot of fun or your parents had a lot of fun pretending you were really enjoying it :)

Principal for the Morning

We went to visit Uncle Jim at his school. You helped welcome all of students, flirted with all of the office ladies, and helped with announcements.

While we were welcoming the students a few were very curious about you. I had to remind them that we do not touch babies or hit them with toys. I had to very kindly ask that group to go to class :)

Lets hope this was your last visit to the Principal's office!

4 Months

Some how 4 months have passed since you were born.  We truly feel like you have been with us forever but at the same time feel like you were just born.  We love getting to know you guys more and more! You guys have grown so much it is hard to believe how far you have come from the tiny guys we met in the hospital four months ago.

This month has brought a lot of changes. One particularly nap striking..... this one has not been my favorite. You boys use to take an awesome afternoon nap from 1-4. I would blog, bake, surf the web, and relax. For the past three weeks you two have decided you don't need to nap. I sure hope this is just a phase. On the other hand you two have discovered the world around you. You both love to grab things and put them in your mouth. You both are starting to realize that there is another baby around. You like to laugh at each other when you are face to face. You guys are forming a bond already and I love it!

You have grown so much this month! You recently have discovered your voice and you love it! You will babble to yourself in your crib before you fall asleep. It is so cute to hear you. You have also discovered how to belly laugh. You have been giving us smiles and laughs for a few months but you can really belt out a good ol laugh now. It is so precious! You look at Moose and laugh at him.... how could you not! Your hair has started growing again, you were beginning to look like an old man with a comb over! I would really like to cut it but your Dad thinks that might look silly, we will see who wins :) You still love your bath and kick with delight as soon as you get in. You can roll from front to back and from back to front although, you really don't care to do it. You and Hudson love to lay backwards in your Boppy and play with each other. It was a great month!

My Buddy you have developed so much this month! You woke up one morning and decided you were going to rock out Tummy Time! You neck strength has improved greatly! You are a huge kicker and mover. I think you will keep me on my toes for sure! You are always the first to kick your socks off, even since you were brand new. I have you pegged as a soccer player. You have been talking us up and belly laughing for some time now. Grandpa Dave can really get you going you will talk to him for a long time. Your Dad also does this airplane roller coaster game that you just love. You have grown so much hair this month! You have a lot of it but it is so blonde that it is hard to see. You also love bath time, you love getting your hair washed and kicking your feet.

Grandma and Grandpa Visit!

Your Grandma and Grandpa Bruce joined us for another family weekend. We had such a great time with them. It was so neat to see them see you for the first time since July. You guys have really grown since then!

While you were playing with Grandma and Grandpa I headed out to do my first race since I got pregnant. Uncle Jim and I ran together, it was a lot of fun but a huge reminder to me that I am really out of shape!

First Hawkeye Game!

We had a great time watching your first Hawkeye game! You both were really into it and enjoyed watching the game. Iowa beat Tennessee Tech 34-7! 

Labor Day

Labor Day Weekend was a lot of fun! We started the weekend by giving you guys a couple bites of banana's. You were not crazy about them and still don't have the art of eating down yet. You are Brockway's so I know this skill will be mastered shortly.

We had a couple of bbq's during the weekend, I did not get any pictures. But trust me, you had a great time :) 

Friday was College Spirit Day, we tweeted your picture to the Iowa Hawkeye's!

We ended the weekend with another bbq at Grandma and Grandpa's. Aunt Marci was in town for business so we enjoyed loving on her. It was great to get to see her again!
